Technology explains how OmicsXplore and SilicoXplore work, and Academy explains how to learn them. This page covers what you can commission or license from us.
Three are programmes our scientists run for you, and one puts the technologies in your own team’s hands.
Delivered by our team · OmicsXplore
Target Discovery Programme
From sequencing data to a ranked, evidence linked list of targets.
You provide
Sequencing data (FASTQ, BAM or CRAM, or run accessions) and the biological question: a disease, a comparison or a cohort.
You receive
A ranked, evidence linked list of targets, each with its supporting analysis, matched to your question: differential expression, variants, copy number or single cell results.
From a target to a nominated list of candidate molecules.
You provide
A target, as a structure, a sequence or a disease question, and what a good candidate would look like for you.
You receive
A nominated candidate list. Behind it sit target assessment, generative design and machine learning triage, pharmacokinetic and toxicity filtering, docking across up to five engines, and replicate molecular dynamics and binding free energy on the survivors.
Project based, with written milestones. The timeline follows the scope of your question: a focused study moves quickly, a full campaign takes longer
The technologies in your team’s hands, on your own targets and data.
You provide
A team, and the targets and data it will work on.
You receive
Access to SilicoXplore, OmicsXplore or both, with onboarding and a named scientific contact, so your team can run the work itself.
Flexible terms, from a few weeks or months to a full year, by seat or by site. Academic rates available. Run it on our secure, high-specification cloud, or deploy it in your own cloud or on your own servers.
The technologies were built for small molecule discovery, but the filters, endpoints and reporting change with the field. These are the sectors we work in today.
Pharmaceutical and biotech
Lead discovery and optimisation against your own targets, with the evidence trail that a partner, a regulator or a diligence process will ask to see.
Academic research groups
Hands-on access to the technologies, with manuscript support when the work is ready to publish.
Contract research organisations
Capacity for computational work delivered under your own reporting, with parameter records your clients can audit.
Agrochemical
Crop protection targets, with property filters and toxicity endpoints tuned to the sector.
Materials and formulation
Crystal structure prediction and solid form work through SilicoCSP, alongside density functional theory for electronic structure.
Public health and neglected disease
Programmes in infectious and neglected disease, as in the campaigns above.
How an engagement works
Five steps, agreed in writing.
No programme starts without a written scope. These steps apply to the three programmes, and a technology licence follows a shorter version of the same path.
01
Scoping call
One conversation about what you have and what you need. No charge and no obligation.
02
Written proposal
Scope, deliverables, milestones, timeline and cost, in writing, before any work begins.
03
Kick off
Targets and data transferred, technology access provisioned, and a named scientific contact assigned to the programme.
04
Milestones
Interim reports at agreed points, so direction can change while there is still budget and time to change it.
05
Delivery and hand over
Everything listed under “What every delivery contains” is handed over together, and your team can open every job record and rerun any step, with or without us.
Before you share anything
Your data and your IP.
The questions a legal or security team will ask, answered before the scoping call rather than after it.
Confidential from the start
Anything you share stays confidential. We are happy to sign a non disclosure agreement before you send us anything sensitive.
The outputs are yours
For the programmes we run, the outputs are yours. Data handling, intellectual property and access controls are set per engagement in the written scope.
Data stays where your policy requires
Where your data sits is part of the same written terms, whichever product you choose.
A scoping call establishes whether there is a problem worth working on together. A computational scientist will discuss how our technologies apply to your programme, which engagement model fits, and whether we are the right partner for the work.
